- I am a positive person with a lot of energy. I like to meet different people and enjoy learning about other communities and places. I love to travel. I usually travel abroad once or twice a year.
The quilt making project is so beautiful and heart breaking. I hope they are able to travel around Orlando on tours letting people know what is going on in our back yard. There are so many stories in the quilted squares and they live on even though the makers might have passed on. I love that the squares are made by people who are in bad health or even dying because this gives them a way to share their stories. It is a testimony of the injustices that these people faced.
ReplyDeleteI can’t wait to have Linda here at UCF to share this project. I believe that it will be a wonderful experience for everyone involved. It might even inspire more people to make the change and fight against pesticide use for farm workers and better working conditions.
